Floyd Holcom, Director, The IBIS Group, LLC
In 1991, after years of serving in Oregon's International Trade Insisitute, Floyd founded The IBIS Group, LLC, which was credited for being the first American Company back in Vietnam since the war and assitied Nike, Inc., a-dec Dental, Powell's Books and others in penetrating this foreign market. More than 70% of the manufactureing for Nike is now in Vietnam.

Since then, IBIS has assisted Oregon in landing international communication cables on Oregon's shores increasing international trade.

"Mr. Floyd" as he was known in Iraq, then MSG Holcom led his team of Special Forces soldiers in performing some of the first Special Operations Missions in the War on Terrorism. This leadership experience is supplemented by broad skills in indigenous relationships and even to this day, Floyd speaks Mandarin Chinese, Persian Farsi and Arabic, Korean and Thai.  Currently, SGM Holcom is assisting the State of Oregon maintain its obligation to Emergency Management for Clatsop, Columbia and Tillamook Counties.
